We're not a pub that happens to sell craft beer because its trendy.
We're The Pour House.
Devizes' specialist craft beer bar on St John's Street, with rotating taps, a curated fridge, and a welcome that doesn't wear off.
Whether you've been coming since we opened or you've just found us - hello.
You're in the right place.

Over 130 craft beers, ciders, independent wines, gins and spirits.
Not 130 things that all taste the same.
130 brews chosen with care - from local Wiltshire breweries to the best independents in the country.
Hawkstone. Electric Bear. Bristol Beer Factory. Ramsbury. Siren Craft. And whatever's just landed that we can't stop talking about.
Rotating taps mean the bar is always changing.
Different every time.
Drink in or take away. Pint, half or third. Try before you buy - just ask.

We opened in November 2024 as Devizes' only independent craft beer bar.
Since then, we've become home to a weekly running club, a monthly book club, a menopause café, a knitting and crochet group, quiz nights, Talk Club - a mens mental fitness group, meet the brewer evenings, food events and more.
We sponsor Devizes Ladies Rugby Club.
We've raised funds for Julia's House, Wiltshire Air Ambulance, the Royal British Legion and the Grand Appeal.
We do this because we think a bar should make the town better - not just be somewhere you go to drink.
Come for the beer. Stay for the rest.

As you walk in, you'll meet him.
Two metres tall, painted on the wall, completely unbothered by whatever you order.
He's our resident cocker spaniel - immortalised in a mural that tends to stop people in their tracks.
Most people photograph him before they've even ordered.
That's fine. We'd do the same.
Find him when you visit and tag us on
Instagram @thepourhousedevizes.
We'd love to see it...
Not even slightly. Tell us what you normally drink and we'll find you something you'll love. No jargon, no judgement - just good beer.
Because we're card only, we don't round for change. £5.61 means £5.61
Most of our staff are female and often work alone so its safer for them. Plus, it avoids taking cash to the bank.
Yes - just ask and we'll happily give you a sample
No - we keep our prices fair and transparent all the time so we don't need gimmicks.
Cider is often quicker and less costly to produce than a heavily hopped IPA or barrel aged stout.
Not all 5% beers are created equal. A straightforward 5% lager brewed in bulk will cost less than a 5% IPA loaded with rare hops or fruit. Ingredients, brewing methods, and batch size all play a role — ABV is just one factor, not the whole story.
Expect updates on what’s on tap, what’s happening, and the occasional treat. No spam, no selling your data - just Pour House things.
